As the cold months set in, it’s time to start thinking about how you will keep your baby safe and warm during naps and especially at bedtime. Keeping your baby warm can help them stay asleep, but overheating can also be dangerous. Before setting your baby in the bedside bassinet , follow these tips to make sure your baby is comfortable during cold nights.  Bedside Bassinet Signs of Overheating Before following any other tips, it’s important to know the signs of when your baby is overheating. They can be warm to the touch, have a rapid heartbeat, or have red skin. If they have a fever but are not sweating, chances are they are overheating. Your baby might also be lethargic or unresponsive, dizzy or confused, or vomiting. Test the back of their neck, and if it’s hot, they are likely overheating.
